Welcome to the Operations Research Society of Eastern Africa ORSEA Conference 2011, Nairobi, Kenya, 13th and 14th October 2011 Background ORSEA aims at promoting the Development and Application of Operations Research to solving problems and making decisions in Eastern Africa. The Society has Three Country Chapters: Uganda , Kenya and Tanzania. The conference is organized by the ORSEA in collaboration with: The University of Nairobi, School of Business - Kenya. Makerere University Business School - Uganda University of Dar es Salaam, Business School - Tanzania This year's conference will feature amongst other initiatives, the first INFORMS/IFORS/ORSEA International Teaching Effectiveness Colloquium.
